5 reasons why Black Widow’s victim was fair
The “Avengers: Final” was faced with an impossible task: to complete the story arch, which began in the “Infinity War”, and to do it in a way that is satisfactory for fans. The story that began in the “Infinity War”, in which Thanos with the Glove of Infinity wiped out half the population from the face of the Earth, must be completed. But how? Soon, the Avengers will find that after the “Click” Thanos destroyed the Infinity Stones. One way to repair the damage was suggested by Scott Lang (Ant-Man): the Avengers teams needed to make several time travels and extract Infinity Stones from those periods. The Black Widow and Hawkeye set off for Wormyr for the Soul Stone. For its extraction, it was necessary to sacrifice those whom you love most. Both had reasons for both wanting to make this sacrifice and not doing it. Longtime friends, partners, and (in comics) lovers, watching them make a decision was unbearable. As a result, the Black Widow became a victim, but only because she literally won this opportunity from Hawkeye. Here are five reasons why her sacrifice was justified, and five why Hawkeye was to become a victim. 10. Why was it justified: She wanted to be a real heroine To be part of the Avengers team – this already largely ensures a heroic reputation (you are among the superheroes, after all), the dark widow of the Black Widow prevented her from feeling this. Unlike other altruistic brethren, such as Captain America and Thor, she did a lot of things before entry that she was not proud of. As a highly skilled agent, Black Widow was engaged in murders, including custom-made. Although she was given a serum similar to Captain America’s serum, aimed at genetic improvement, such tasks meant that until the end she did not feel more equal to her comrades. Heroic death in the name of saving the world (and friends) would compensate for this. 9. Why should it have been Hawkeye: Then Natasha and Bruce Benner could be together In the films about Iron Man, Captain America and the Avengers, there was a period when Natasha flirted with several members of the team. Tony Stark only strengthened his feelings for Pepper Potts, Steve Rogers could not forget Peggy Carter, but Bruce Banner was an unexpected contender for her affection. In Avengers: Age of Ultron, their relationship was revealed a little deeper, although he could not recognize them because of his monstrous nature. Having found a soul mate in him, Natasha said that she would run away with him if he wanted to abandon the Avengers. It’s sad that their romance will never take place. 8. Why it was justified: Hawkeye had a family. If there is even the slightest chance of returning Hawkeye’s family, the Black Widow will not let him miss him. Through a “click” in the Glove of Infinity, Thanos robbed Clint Barton of his wife and two children. And only the reunion of Infinity Stones can cancel the “click” effect. In Avengers: Age of Ultron, there was a touching scene between Bruce Banner and Natasha, the essence of which was that he and she could not have children due to sterilization. Considering how difficult it is for her to have her own family, no doubt she would have felt guilty if she had survived, despite the fact that Hawkeye had a chance to return her. 7. Why it should have been Hawkeye: He endangered his family After the “click” Hawkeye lost his family. In an instant, his wife and two children dissolved, leaving him alone. He could not find Thanos, therefore he was taking his despair and pain to criminals, drug lords and murderers, who, by the cruel whim of fate, did not suffer as a result of the “click”. When the Avengers manage to undo the destruction caused by Thanos, Hawkeye reunites with the family. But he cannot erase the last five years when he destroyed the drug syndicates in Tokyo. The survivors will undoubtedly seek Clint and his family to take revenge. 6. Why it was justified: She is a lone wolf Black Widow has always been a loner. There are several reasons for this, independent of her nature. The Black Widow program brainwashed her so that she would not become attached to anyone, making her an ideal killing machine. Most often, she worked alone, with the exception of working with Hawkeye in Budapest (they mention this in many films). It was thanks to her partnership with Clint that she gradually realized the connection with the rest of the Avengers. But in her soul she will forever remain a lone wolf, separated from the pack. 5. Why it should have been Hawkeye: The Black Widow did not deserve a “middle ground” For many years, the Black Widow was the only woman in the male team of superheroes. They, unlike her, had their own solo albums (and trilogies). Marvel assured fans that the movie “Black Widow” is sure to be, but, given her untimely death, it seems that the only way is a prequel.
